TheMakita HS0600 Circular Saw uses a larger 10-1/10 cm blade that gives the saw a cut capacity of 3-13/41 cm at 90 which makes it able to cut 4x lumber in one pass easily.
It is twice as large as a standard 7-1/10cm circular saw. However, at only 69kg it is almost as light as a 7-1/10cm wormdrive circular see.
As far as other features go, it hasmagnesium die cast blade case and upper and lower blade guards, and aluminum base for durability and less weight. It has a large oversized secondary front handle that looks like they pulled it from their grinders (a good thing). The motor is flat on the end which makes it stable when placed on its side for easy blade changes.
