It features the same sturdy design using high impact resin as the previous boxes and its about the size of the medium sized tool box. It is also very affordable at just around. What is strange is the price at which it was initially priced when I first saw it, but then dropped to the lower price. The cheaper the better I say. It is not currently available in stores or online, however I will tell you.
Ridgid 56cm Pro Tool Storage System users will love this crates’ ability to combine with other 56cm pro tool boxes by stacking and interlocking. Its open top design will make it easy to load and unload items without the hassle of opening and closing the top lid. Because of the open top design it naturally wont be weather sealed like the other pro tool boxes.
I initially thought that the open top design would prevent users from stacking and locking other boxes. But, if you look closer, you will see that the side handles can be used to lock and unlock other boxes. These side handles are used for two purposes: they can be used to carry the box and to secure the upper box.
I’m happy to see Ridgid 56cm pro tool system added to and I appreciate the crates low price. I hope to see more additions in the future such as a tool box with pull out drawers.
