Milwaukee grows their plumbing drain cleaning offerings with the new Trapsnake 25 auger with cable drive 49-16-2573 . It is scheduled to launch January 2022 for msrp.
The new trapsnake auxger is a stand-alone unit that houses a 7.6m auger cable. This auger can be powered by hand with the flip out tab handle in the rear of the drum or by motor when paired with the M12 Trapsnake driver. Milwaukee created this trapsnake 25 auger equipped with a cable drive to remove blockages from sinks, bathtubs and shower drains.
When a user presses on the front grip lever, it activates the auto feeding and retracting of the cable. Milwaukee markets this as Cable Drive. The cable lock holds the cable in place which is said to give the user maximum control while they work to clear the clog.
I do like that this auger is both manual powered and can be motor powered with the M12 Trapsnake driver and the auger cable can be replaced to extend the life of the tool.
