Dewalt announces a new 20V nailer, theDewalt 20V XR Concrete Nailer DCN890P2.
Dewalt initially didn’t seem to be very focused on cordless nailers when they launched their 20V cordless tool platform. They started with a simple framing nailer. The framing nailer was their only 20V nailer. Later, they added a two-speed framing nailer that didn’t offer much choice. They launched the 16ga 20v nailer, and since then they’ve been making new cordless 20V nails every day. Dewalt has all the basics covered when you think about nailers. Even those that aren’t compatible with battery-powered nailers like framing, metal connection and flooring nailers, Dewalt also offers concrete nailers.
Most concrete nailers are powder actuated or use fuel cartridges and thats where the newDewalt 20V XR Concrete Nailer DCN890P2 is different in that it too also uses a brushless electric motor powered solely by 20V lithium ion batteries just like their other 20V nailers. This means no more need to buy consumables to fuel or power the nail gun, as you just need to recharge your battery and youre set.
